(RTTNews) - At 8:30 am ET Friday, the Labor Department has released U.S. nonfarm payrolls data for November. After the data, the greenback appreciated against its major counterparts.

The greenback was trading at 144.98 against the yen, 1.0723 against the euro, 1.2524 against the pound and 0.8797 against the franc around 8:31 am ET.
