(RTTNews) - Indian shares opened on a buoyant note Monday after a highly anticipated report on personal income and spending released on Friday showed U.S. consumer prices increased by slightly less than expected in February.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was up 545 points, or 0.7 percent, at 74,194 in early trade while the broader NSE Nifty index was up 184 points, or 0.8 percent, at 22,510.
